Great news for the other weirdos out there that have also been foaming at the mouth for Promise Mascot Agency, the next game from the folks behind 2020’s excellent vaporwave murder mystery, Paradise Killer — the team at Kaizen Game Works has just launched a playable demo for the game on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC!
The game, which is slated to launch at an unannounced date this year, is an open-world narrative adventure that’ll see players attempt to run a (you guessed it) mascot agency, dealing with all of the expected challenges of managing a cohort of living, breathing mascots such as small doorways, uncontrollable fires and porn addiction. The normal stuff.
There’s a pretty impressive voice cast on board for this one too, including the iconic Takaya Kuroda, voice of Kiryu in the Like a Dragon series and here playing protagonist Michi—who just happens to be a Yakuza. Also on the bill are ex-PlayStation executive, Shuhei Yoshida (!) and video game auteur, SWERY.
Take a look at a new trailer announcing the demo to get a better idea of what Promise Mascot Agency is all about:
(I think it might be an Open World Mascot Management Crime Drama)

So do you fancy yourself a mascot management savant and someone with the stomach for a bit of crime drama? Is this a demo/game you’ll be checking out? Let us know in the comments or over on social media.
