EA has announced that a World Cup update is coming to EA Sports FC 26 in preparation for the tournament’s kick off on June 11.
Launching on June 4, the update is also coming to EA Sports FC Mobile and adds all 48 national teams from this year’s World Cup to the roster, including the mighty Socceroos, as well as five additional countries (Italians rejoice).
The update introducing a new 48-team tournament mode to FC 26, so players can experience the thrill of winning the World Cup with their own hands, and bring new stadiums to the game, including Gillette Stadium and BMO Field, and Central Maw.
FC Mobile’s update will see players set up a round of 16 knockout tournament, in the hope of leading their chosen nation to lift the major trophy.
