Apex Legends Season 13 Gameplay Trailer Details Map Changes And New Features

Respawn Entertainment has fully detailed everything coming in Apex Legends Season 13 – Saviors.

The gameplay trailer for the upcoming season of Apex Legends has dropped, showing off a brief look at the new Legend, Newcastle, map changes, new gameplay additions and more coming in Saviors.

In addition to a new Legend, Saviors will be introducing map changes to Storm Point. As seen in the story trailer, a huge aquatic beast attacked the island and was felled by the Legends. This monster’s corpse now acts as the main new point of interest on the evolved map. Downed Beast is an organic POI, meaning players will be able to go inside the dead beastie, collect loot and get into firefights. Multiple points of entry (including the intimidating mouth of course) and a scalable exterior will give players plenty of battlegrounds to fight across.

Thanks to the arrival of the beast, four IMC armouries have popped up all over Storm Point, promising high-tier loot to those who can best the challenge waiting within. Entering the armouries, players can press a button to start a 60-second battle against hostile Spectres (combat MRVNs). The more Spectres you destroy, the more loot you’ll be rewarded with at the end of the encounter. Once your team has collected the loot, you’ll have the option to leave through the door or eject high into the sky.

Lastly, there will be a number of quality of life changes made with Saviors, including tweaks to existing spider nests and the addition of a new Prowler camp near the Cenote.
