Respawn Entertainment has announced Apex Legends Season 14 – Hunted, revealing the new Legend, Vantage, and confirming a map update for Kings Canyon. The new season will begin across all platforms on August 9.
The new Legend for this season, Vantage, was introduced with a brand new Stories from the Outlands trailer titled Survive. The five-minute cinematic shows Vantage, real name Mara, traversing and hunting across the abandoned ice planet Págos. Listening to stories told by her mother, Mara explores a crashed ship that she was told was empty, only to find that it was a prison barge that once held her mother captive. Almost killed by what the ship springing into life, Mara’s mother activates a distress beacon that will see Vantage picked up and taken to the Outlands.
We don’t get a strong indication of what abilities Vantage will have, but she does appear to be a sniper that happens upon a little bat-like creature, so here’s hoping the little guy follows her to the games.

Over on the Apex Legends website, we have a few other hints at what’s in store for Season 14. The map update for this season will see Kings Canyon getting a rework, renamed Reforged Kings Canyon. Little more is known about this rework, but the site teases that elements will rise from the ashes of the past.
To the surprise of no one, Season 14 will introduce a new battle pass with a whole bunch of new cosmetic items to unlock, but that’s not it. Hunted will also be increasing the level cap, allowing players who have already hit level 500 to continue to earn XP and receive Apex Packs. This will likely mean that a new badge will be introduced to celebrate hitting the new level cap as well.
Apex Legends Season 14 – Hunted will begin on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch and PC on August 9.
