PlayStation Australia has announced that a range of PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection items will be released on November 14, with pre-orders going live tomorrow.
While we’ve already seen the international celebration of 30 years of PlayStation come and go, so it’s time now to acknowledge the local anniversary. In honour of the original PlayStation’s Australian release back in November 1995, a selection of the limited edition 30th Anniversary items have been restocked in Aus, including the PS5 Digital Edition, the PlayStation Portal, and the DualSense controller.
All three items feature the OG PlayStation grey colour scheme, complete with green, red, pink, and blue face buttons on the DualSense and Portal. The three items will release on November 14, coinciding with the PS1’s Australian anniversary, but you’ll need to throw down some cash well before that to lock them in. Pre-orders for these limited edition items will go live tomorrow (October 15) at 10am AEDT through participating retailers.
Speaking of which, we’ve seen confirmation of stock from the regular suspects, JB Hi-Fi and EB Games, though you’ll need to be an EB World Plus member to lock in an order through them So, yeah.
The PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection will get a limited restock to celebrate our Aussie anniversary in November. Pre-order at select retailers on 15th October from 10am (local time). Details in thread 👇 pic.twitter.com/DGlT8B5pio
