Bejeweled Movement Shooter Don’t Stop, Girlypop! Gets A January Release Date

Guns, glitter, girlypop

Developer Funny Fintan Softworks and publisher Kwalee have announced that the stylised, fast-paced movement shooter Don’t Stop, Girlypop! will release on PC on January 30, 2026.

Developed by Perth-based studio Funny Fintan Softworks, Don’t Stop, Girlypop! is a boomer shooter that doesn’t just prioritise movement; it demands it. Using various movement mechanics, such as double jumps, dashes, ground pounds and bunny hops, players will gain speed, and the faster they go, the more damage they deal. Playing as the “Cupid of death,” players are tasked with bringing down the robotic armies of the shady megacorp known as Tigiris Nix, who aim to strip the world of love. Amazingly, the explanation given for the ultraviolence is that for each point of damage dealt to a mechanised menace is a single piece of love being re-released back into the world.

Now, you might have noticed that Don’t Stop, Girlypop! looks absolutely insane. Good pick up. The shooter is aggressively pink, hyper-stylised, and dripping in Y2K references and iconography. Your method of communication is a flip phone, and you can decorate your arms and guns with paint jobs and jewels, because anyone who grew up in that era will remember that being an unstoppable trend. Don’t Stop, Girlypop! doesn’t look, sound, or resemble anything else in the genre, so you can bet we’ll be checking it in the early days of 2026.
