Hot on the heels of a very axe-cellent gameplay overview, the warrior poet Amon also gets his very own character short – titled “Demons”.
With some prior knowledge of what horrible shit comes out of a vault when you open it, Amon tries his best to warn some folks, before they see for themselves why they should have listened.
While the short does a great job of showcasing what kind of stand-up dude Amon is, I can’t help but feel a bit sad that it isn’t reeeeeally his origin story.
Amon is a guy who came from a vault-worshipping cult and saw that it does first hand – resulting in him rebuilding a healthy portion of his body with weapon forging technology. This short mostly shows how he handles stuff after the fact, which is fine, but man would have loved to see Amon pre-upgrade and then making the necessary changes to personify his new ass-kicking prowess.
Still, the video ends with him sharing one very special tidbit of information – did you know you can squeeze a mans skull hard enough to turn his brain into a diamond? In fact, he has it on his person.
That’s just science.
