Bummer, The Release Date For Dead or Alive 6 Has Been Pushed Back

Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja, the developers behind the eagerly anticipated return to DOA have given us all some, well, slightly bummer news with the release of Dead or Alive 6 being pushed back to March 1, 2019.

The game was originally supposed to ship into our twitchy hands by February 15, but you know what? sometimes things can take a little more time than anticipated and it is a welcome move by both developer and publisher to give a bit more behind the scenes love to make sure Dead or Alive 6 is the game we all want it to be.

Yohei Shimbori, the lead director and producer on DOA6 had this to say:

The title’s development is already near complete; however, we would like to take more time to further polish its balance, gameplay, and expressiveness. In return for your patience, we commit to bringing you the best DEAD OR ALIVE gaming experience, I am truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by the release delay of┬áDEAD OR ALIVE 6.

Don’t be sorry Yohei, we still love you and can’t wait to punch faces into the concrete with Jann Lee even if it is a month later than we hoped.

Dead or Alive 6 will release for PS4, Xbox One X and PC via Steam on February 15 March 1.
