German developer Homo Narrans has announced that its point-and-click detective adventure Casebook 1899 – The Leipzig Murders will release on PC on September 4, 2025.
Based in the developer’s hometown and the titular city of Leipzig, Casebook 1899 is set at the end of the 19th century and sees detective Joseph Kreiser investigate a series of murders that have occurred in the Saxony city.
With traditional point-and-click gameplay, you’ll examine areas for evidence, interrogate witnesses and suspects and piece together clues to solve four murders that have rocked the city. And it’s backed by hand-pixelated visuals based on research to create an authentic setting.
Casebook 1899 – The Leipzig Murders was one of our 11 point-and-click games to get excited about in 2024, so it’s great to see it finally secure a release date.
