Developer The Farm 51 has announced Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone, coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2025.
A direct sequel to the studio’s 2021 action RPG, Exclusion Zone once again drops players into a post-apocalyptic Chernobyl that has been transformed and mutated thanks to the eponymous material that appeared after the nuclear power plant disaster. Following feedback on the first game, the sequel promises advancements in almost all avenues, including character development, exploration, and combat.
Largely setting the tone for the sequel, the announcement trailer gives us a peek at the enemies and environments that will be found in the game, while also showcasing the improved visuals thanks to development in Unreal Engine 5.
