German developer, publisher and Cryengine creator Crytek have announced that they will debut their new game, Hunt: Showdown at E3.
Hunt: Showdown is a revitalised version of Crytek’s previously announced yet unreleased four-player co-op shooter, Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age.
The game appears to have undergone a few major changes, most notably the move from a third-person shooter to a first-person shooter, as we ll as reducing the player, or Hunter, count from four to two.
Crytek released a teaser earlier for the game earlier this week, with the description reading:
When two hunters risk everything
And evil waits unseen
The hunter becomes the hunted
