Dark Souls II is a sequel to Dark Souls. It was developed by FromSoftware, however, Hidetaka Miyazaki did not direct this game as he was primarily focused on the development of Bloodborne. The game was originally released on March 11, 2014 and was later released as Scholar of The First Sin on April 1, 2015 which featured all the downloadable expansions on one disc.
Dark Souls II is set in the fallen kingdom of Drangleic, where a cursed undead must venture and collect “Great Souls.” These great souls will give the cursed undead the ability to seek counsel with the King. It isn’t until the Emerald Herald informs you that you know what your true purpose is. To free the land of Drangleic from the Queen, Nashandra’s hands.
