Deja Vu: Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Has A $500 Kollectors Edition That I Still Can’t Afford

It’s round 2 for MK11 Kollector’s Editions

Over at our very own EB Games, it has been announced that they are stocking a heck of an exclusive Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Kollector’s Edition.

On one hand, it is brilliant to see that they are basically mirroring what they did with the initial Kollector’s Edition release (Seen for posterity on the GameStop website here) – providing a matching Sub Zero mask to match their Scorpion statue/trophy/thing – but good golly it’s a pricey one once again.

$499.95 – The Mortal Kombat 11 Kollector’s Edition contains:

  • Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate game
  • Kombat Pack 1
  • Kombat Pack 2
  • Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Expansion
  • Sub Zero Mask bust
  • Exclusive Steel case
  • Commemorative magnet coin
  • Authenticity certificate
  • Exclusive DLC – Avalanche Sub Zero

…Arguably the content (kontent?) is a little more generous for this edition, as it of course gathers every scrap of post release DLC that has been made available for the game. The initial Kollector’s Edition only provided the initial wave of DLC.

But really this serves to cater to the ultra-die hards, and the last few fighting game enthusiasts that have been residing under a rock for the entire current-gen lifespan of MK11.

I am just critically aware that I absolutely can’t afford it.

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate will launch on November 17
