Earlier today German developer and publisher, Crytek, debuted gameplay footage of their newly-announced co-op PvP first-person shooter, Hunt: Showdown.
It is a reimaging of Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age, which was announced back at E3 in 2014, however, since then a lot has changed, including the name, the shift from third-person to first-person, the focus on PvP instead of PvE and the dual player co-op experience opposed to the four player idea floated in Gilded Age.
However, despite the changes, the game still looks very promising. It also looks incredible too (achieved with CryEngine), the Twitch stream and capture might have killed some of the quality though.
While there has only been word of a PC release at this stage (no release date), we are hoping that Crytek brings Hunt to consoles.
