Every Australian And New Zealand-Made Game Released In 2026

Find out what Aussie and New Zealand developers are releasing in 2026

2026 marks the back half of the 2020s. The first half has seen a litany of bangers that will be remembered for years, and now it’s time for the second wave to hit. There are plenty of titles to keep an eye on this year, but it’s easy to miss them with so many releases every week. In what has become a tradition, we’ll be doing our best to catalogue every single Australian and New Zealand-made video game released in 2026, so you can find them all in one location.

This list is for new releases, ports or games entering 1.0. Moreover, your game doesn’t have to be released on major storefronts such as Steam – it can be a game that is available on itch.io or any other platform. As usual, it will be updated over the year (or as much as we can) as more games get release dates. Unfortunately, we will miss some games (apologies in advance), so if we’ve missed your game or you want to reach out about adding your game to this list, please email admin@well-played.com.au. Alrighty, order some fush and chups and start spinning some AC/DC, let’s check out the Australian and New Zealand-made games releasing in 2026.

If you released a game last year that isn’t included in our games that Australian and New Zealand-based studios released in 2025 article hit us up by emailing admin@well-played.com.au and I’ll make sure it’s added.
