Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is getting a shiny new Nintendo Switch 2 version to coincide with the console’s launch next week. The Level 5 developed “slow life” game recently celebrated surpassing 500k units sold within just three days on the market, a massive showing for the cosy-adjacent RPG life sim. Self-published by Level 5, the game has enjoyed a positive critical reception too, landing with a solid 81 on Metacritic, and is now aiming to steal hearts as well as time on the Switch 2 on June 5th.
If you’ve already picked up the Switch version of the game, you’ll be able to upgrade to the Switch 2 edition for just $2.50 USD (likely shaking out around four or five Australian bucks). The new version of the game will feature “enhanced graphics”, ranging from better frame rates to higher resolutions, and faster loading times.
We’re aiming to check out the game on the Switch 2 in the future, but over at GamesHub, reviewer Leah J. Williams gave the game a 4.5/5, saying “Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Timehas arrived as a brilliant, well-rounded RPG with clever mechanics, and an ambitious story driving it to greatness. It captures everything that made Fantasy Lifememorable, and pushes it even further.”
