According to the man behind his iconic voice, Geralt of Rivia will be making an appearance in the next Witcher game.
Spotted by the fine folks over at GamesRadar, voice actor Doug Cockle recently made an appearance on the Fall Damage YouTube channel to test his knowledge and remember lines from the Witcher trilogy. During the entertaining video, Cockle gets a little loose-lipped about The Witcher 4, which is currently in development under the name Project Polaris.
Talking about the highly anticipated game, Cockle says, “What we know is that Geralt will be a part of the game; we just don’t know how much. And the game won’t focus on Geralt. It’s not about him this time; we don’t know who it’s about.”
CD Projekt Red can’t be too bothered by this slip of the tongue, as it doesn’t really give away much of anything, but it’s nice to know that our favourite grizzled monster killer will, at the very least, be ducking in for a round of Gwent.
