Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Nomada Studio have announced that the visually stunning action-platformer Neva will be launching on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch and PC on October 15.
The release date for Nomada Studio’s second was announced during this morning’s Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase. A new trailer accompanied the announcement, giving us a further glimpse into the beauty of Neva’s world and the combat and traversal mechanics we’ll soon be engaging with. The team’s first game, Gris, was similarly easy on the eyes but focused solely on platforming and vibes (we gave it an 8).
We recently had the chance to play Neva early and came away from the preview with plenty of positive thoughts. ” Neva simply can’t come soon enough. It shot to the top of my most anticipated games when it was first announced, and now we’re one step closer to a full release, and my thoughts have only strengthened. It’s a startlingly realised world full of colour and wonder even at this early stage, one that evolves Gris’ perfectly produced design into an experience that should appeal to a broader player base.”
