As part of the celebrations for the 20th anniversary of Halo, Xbox announced that the multiplayer portion of Halo Infinite will be available to play as of today.
Xbox is treating this early access as a beta to ensure that on December 8 when the game does release that all “systems are good-to-go.” While technically it’s not the full launch of the multiplayer, Season One does indeed kick off today. Halo Infinite’s multiplayer is free-to-play and doesn’t require a Game Pass subscription, so players across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC can jump in right now.
