With IO Interactive’s latest spin on its Hitman series and the final instalment in the World of Assassination trilogy, Hitman 3, set to release on January 20, 2021, the Danish-based studio has started cranking up the marketing machine, yesterday releasing a new gameplay trailer that sees the star of the show Agent 47 doing what he does best: assassinating bad guys.
While kicking arse is Agent 47’s modus operandi, the trailer shows off some new features that will allow players to take their Hitman experience to the next level, such as new weapons, new toys to play with and new ways to hurt your target and their cronies (such as a bag of flour and a feather duster). Furthermore, thanks to the power of the Glacier engine, Hitman 3 will support up to 300 in a location at any one time, as well performance perks such as 4K visuals at 60fps, HDR and faster loading times.
Hitman 3 will launch on January 20, 2021, on PS4 and PS5 (also compatible with PSVR), Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PC and Google Stadia
