Hitman Episode 3 Will Be Free For A Limited Time

The latest content for Io Interactive’s episodic HITMAN game is about to drop very soon, according to the game’s official twitter account. The free HITMAN: Summer Pack not only adds some yet-to-be-revealed free content for players of the stealth-action game, but also brings with it a free download of the game’s third episode, Marrakesh, for anyone who doesn’t already own it.

This is similar to what happened with the game’s Spring Pack back in March this year, which included the second episode, Sapienza, and the Holiday Pack in December last year that came with Paris, the game’s first episode.

To access the content, you’ll just need to browse the digital storefront of your respective platform and download the Summer Pack from there. If you don’t already have the base game, that’s also free to download and includes the opening ICA Facility mission. As for the other episodes, it’s currently not possible to buy them individually so if you’re desperate for more HITMAN, you’ll need to purchase an upgrade to the Game of the Year Edition, which includes all six episodes as well as a bunch of extra goodies. Although at this rate it seems like we may see free downloads of the remaining episodes pop up in the lead up to the release of Hitman 2 in November.

Kieron started gaming on the SEGA Master System, with Sonic the Hedgehog, Alex Kidd and Wonder Boy. The 20-odd years of his life since have not seen his love for platformers falter even slightly. A separate love affair, this time with JRPGs, developed soon after being introduced to Final Fantasy VIII (ie, the best in the series). Further romantic subplots soon blossomed with quirky Japanese games, the occasional flashy AAA action adventure, and an unhealthy number of indie gems. To say that Kieron lies at the center of a tangled, labyrinthine web of sexy video game love would be an understatement.
