Kingdom Hearts III Opening Cinematic Released, Contains Dubstep

Just when everyone thought the days of dubstep in video game trailers were over, here it is again in the opening cinematic to a Disney/JRPG crossover of all things. Yep, as we reported back in September, staple opening movie J-Pop star Utada Hikaru has teamed up with none other than Skrillex for Kingdom Hearts III’s intro stinger and, well, I kinda dig it!

The song is called Face My Fears and around a minute and a half of it can be heard in the cinematic, which Square Enix have so kindly pushed out to the public a little under two months from release. The trailer also features just the right amount of flashy imagery, angst-y teenagers and ~~wig~~ character reveals to make it a classic Kingdom Hearts opener.
