LEGO Fortnite Expeditions Is Just Around The Corner

LEGO Fortnite Expeditions is an all-new experience featuring PvE play, releasing on Fortnite on June 18.

That’s right, LEGO Fortnite Expeditions features PvE play where players enrol at the Supernova Academy to train, team up, and ultimately unlock their superhero potential. All to stop Mask Maker Daigo and his evil forces.

Players will encounter Spires worldwide that must be taken down in 4-player cooperative missions. Missions will be found in the Academy Hub at the Mission Terminal, where specific missions or quick play can be chosen. There are a handful of locations that feature missions, including Utopia City, Spire Excavation Site, and Busted Bridge, with more arriving at a later date. Academy Assignments will also be available from staff such as Vengeance Jones and Night Rose.

Enemies will come in waves, citizens will need to be saved, lands can be explored, and chests await with precious resources to aid in your survival. The upcoming mode will also feature earnable Hero XP and Team Projects, which are progress-driven, allowing players to unlock new missions and buffs for all players involved.

The three hero classes —Shadow Caller, The Hunter, and Rift Ripper —will each provide a distinct gameplay experience for players. Completed missions will level you up and help you find new strategies of play as you mix things up or even try out various other hero classes. You’ll need to level up and use your hero abilities to face the pool of enemies you’ll encounter, such as Light Demon Guards, Spires, and Titans. Your superpowers will also be boosted thanks to the toolbox, where you’ll decide between the Dual Daggers, War Hammer or Plasma Pistols.

Twitch Drops are also available for LEGO Fortnite Expeditions. All you need to do is watch any channel in the LEGO Fortnite Expeditions category for 30 minutes to receive the Xerick Dares Loading Screen, one hour for the Supernova Dorm Display Decor Item, and an hour and 30 minutes for the Supernova Street Light Decor Item. These three Twitch Drops will be obtainable from June 18 to June 23.

It should be noted that LEGO Fortnite Expeditions will be accessible through its own title in the Discover section, or alternatively from Odyssey and Brick Life using a Battle Bus Station.
