Lost Soul Aside Officially Delayed To August 29

Not quite lost, just late

Lost Soul Aside, the upcoming action RPG from developer Ultizero Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, has officially slipped from its original May 30 release date to August 29.

Game director Yang Bing confirmed the delay on Lost Soul Aside’s official Steam page, citing the usual need to polish the game prior to release as a reason for the delay.

“We are truly grateful for the positive response we’ve received from players all over the world since we announced Lost Soul Aside,” Bing’s post reads, “To match the standards Ultizero Games have set for ourselves, we are going to take some additional time to polish the game.”

The delay does push it out of the firing line of Elden Ring Nightreign, FromSoftware’s next big release which is also set for a May 30 release, and the June launch of Nintendo Switch 2. Unfortunately August 29 sets it right next to another big 2025 title, Metal Gear Solid Delta, Konami’s Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake which is currently set for August 28. Guess there’s no running from giants.
