Martha Is Dead, the psychological thriller from Italian studio LKA, is releasing on February 24, 2022, the game’s publisher Wired Productions has announced.
It’s a bold move, given that it’ll put the game smack bang between the release of Horizon Forbidden West (February 18) and Elden Ring (February 25), but having played and enjoyed the demo, I am keen to get my hands on it when it does launch.
The game is set in Tuscany, Italy, in 1944 during the latter stages of World War II, and sees players play as Giulia, a young girl whose twin sister Martha has drowned in a nearby lake. Giulia must process and come to terms with this loss while finding out the truth behind her sister’s death, all while the impacts of the war unfold around her.
Martha is Dead will launch on February 24, 2022 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
