New Guilty Gear Gets Official Title, New Character And A Release Window

Over the weekend, Arc System Works put on ARCREVO America 2019 in Los Angeles. Along with hosting tournaments for three of their biggest titles: Blazblue Centralfiction, Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 and Blazblue Cross Tag Battle, Arc Sys also showed of more of their upcoming addition to the Guilty Gear series.

The trailer shown gives us a look at all of the characters that have been announced so far taking each other on in a variety of stages, all set to quite possibly the most hype original song for a game, “Smell of the Game” written by Daisuke Ishiwatari (creator of Guilty Gear). After this we get the title splash giving us the official title for the game, Guilty Gear Strive.

The trailer also finishes up by giving fans their first look at returning character, Faust, in all his creepy glory.

Guilty Gear Strive is now set to launch late 2020, pushing it closer to a next gen console release.
