Oddworld: Soulstorm Is Getting A Sweet Collector’s Edition

So Mudokon cool

[UPDATE] JB Hi-Fi has confirmed that the Collector’s Edition will cost A$249, with it now available for pre-order.

During the latest PlayStation Stay of Play, it was announced that the hotly anticipated Oddworld: Soulstorm would release on April 6 and that the game would be free for PS5 PS Plus subscribers when it launches. What more could you possibly ask for right? Well, maybe a wicked collector’s edition filled with some great physical goodies.

Publisher Microids have just unveiled the physical editions for Oddworld: Soulstorm and the biggest of the bunch is pretty damn excellent. There will be two editions available, both of which will be up for pre-order today at selected retailers. Sadly though, the physical editions won’t be launching on April 6 alongside the digital version, with the Collector’s Edition launching on July 6, 2021. The same applies to the Day One Edition. We don’t have word on which retailers or what the pricing will be, but we’ll update this article once we know more.

The Collector’s Oddition (see what they did there?) is the star of the show that includes:

  • A Unique Collector’s Box
  • Oddworld: Soulstorm’s standard edition for PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5
  • A collectable metal case
  • An exclusive 22cm figurine of Abe, Mudokon hero
  • A premium 160-page artbook by Pix’n Love Publishing
  • An exclusive Mining Company keychain
  • Three art prints
  • Ancient Mudokon Tribal stickers
  • Abe’s hand tattoo

If you’re just after the game, never fear, they’ve got you covered too, as the Day One Edition comes with the game, as well as a very snazzy embossed steelbook.

Regardless of which edition you settle on, all who preorder will receive a digital copy of the game’s soundtrack as well as a 50-page digital artbook.

Oddworld: Soulstorm will release on PS5, PS4 and PC on April 6.

Are you excited for Soulstorm? Will you be garbbing one of these editions? Let us know.
