Surprise! Publisher Square Enix has seen fit to drop a demo for Oninaki, the new ‘indie’ RPG from Tokyo RPG Factory (I Am Setsuna, Lost Sphear) on the PlayStation Store and Nintendo Switch eShop.
Announced earlier this year, Oninaki will continue Tokyo RPG Factory’s mission to produce classicaly-influenced JRPGs to modern platforms, each with heavy emotional themes. This time around it’s in the form of an ACTION-RPG where players take on the role of Watchers, bound to guide souls between the Living World and the Beyond.
You can grab the demo from the PlayStation Store here, or search ‘Oninaki’ in the Switch eShop on the console. At the time of writing nothing is available for Steam.
Oninaki releases soon, on August 22nd, 2019.
