Patience Is A Virtue – Xürday Times #5 (Week 52)

Welcome back to the Xürday Times. Xor has once again returned to provide us Guardians with shiny new exotics, much to our disappointment nowadays. This week Xür has a VERY good inventory. The times for every class are very good pieces, especially for Titans. This week, Xür has decided to set up base in the Reef instead of the Tower. Don’t worry, there aren’t any import taxes for the items, they’re still that relatively inexpensive price that we have all grown accustomed to.

Yes, I am on my Hunter for once.

First up, he has the Auto Rifle, Sniper Rifle and Rocket Launcher telemetries for those of you who want to level up those weapons faster. These are being sold for 1 Strange Coin and will give you 5 telemetries. Next up is the Plasma Drive and the “Emerald Coil” for those rare blue-quality sparrows, for 23 Strange Coins. 5 Heavy Ammo Synthesis’ for 1 Strange Coin. 1 Mote of Light for 2 Strange coins. 1 Exotic Shard for 7 Strange Coins and Exotic Helmet Engrams for 23 Motes of Light each.

Yes, don't mind the urn.

For Titans he has the Helm of Saint-14. This is arguably THE BEST Defender Titan exotic available. It harbours the Starless Night perk which temporarily blinds enemies who walks into the wearers Ward of Dawn. I love this exotic so much, if I’m on my Titan chances are I’m wearing this helmet. It’s great in both PVP and PVE. If you don’t have this helmet then you should definitely pick this up. Stop reading this and go purchase this exotic from Mr. Tentacleface. It is available for 13 Strange Coins.

Yes, I do wish to not see.

For Hunters he has the Khepri’s Sting. This is personally one of my favourite Hunter exotics, said from the Bones of Eao. These Exotic Gauntlets offer the Touch of Venom exotic perk. What this perk does is it allows the wielder to gain invisibility like a typical Bladedancer would while crouching, if a backstab is performed while invisible there will be a 4x multiplier granted and add an additional poison effect like the Thorn. This is a VERY useful exotic, especially for people who like to run the Gunslinger subclass as you will still be able to go invisible. This great piece of armour is being sold for 13 Strange Coins.

Get it off! Get it off!!!!

For Warlocks her has the Obsidian Mind. This is a great helmet, especially for the abyss encounter of the Crota’s End raid. This Exotic Helmet offers the Insatiable exotic perk which allows the Nova Bomb to aid in recharging the wearers super ability upon killing enemies with it. For the first encounter in Crota’s End, this is fantastic as it means an almost constant flow of Nova Bombs. This great helmet is being sold for 13 Strange Coins.

Why yes, is do have a b;and stare.

Finally we have the exotic weapon, Patience And Time. This exotic sniper rifle offers the exotic perk, Patience And Time which allows the wielder to temporarily gain invisibility when aimed down the sights for long enough. It has a high fire rate and is a very stable sniper. This beast of a sniper rifle is being sold for 17 Strange Coins.

Well that is all for this week folks! What did you buy? Was it the bug or was it the Patience And Time? Tune in next week for another weekend of Xürs exotic inventory. In the meantime…

Guardians out!
