Pikmin is one of those franchises that Nintendo fans have been thinking about and waiting to hear about for a really long time. Will Pikmin 4 ever release for example?
On the anniversary of its North American Wii U release date seven years ago, Nintendo has surprise dropped a trailer out of nowhere announcing Pikmin 3 is coming to Switch as Pikmin 3 Deluxe. The quirky real-time strategy game is releasing on October 30 this year.
This new version features multiple difficulty modes (for casual players, lock-on targeting and optional hints), new side story missions and all of the DLC from the original Wii U game. The side story missions will feature Olimar and Louie, and you will also be able to play through the story mode and all DLC with a friend if you wish.
