PlayStation State Of Play Returns In June, With An Extended Look At Marvel’s Wolverine And More

Over 60 minutes of gaming news and updates have been promised

PlayStation just dropped the date for their next State of Play, and it’s looking to be a lengthy one. On June 3 (AEST) 2026, we’re getting more than an hour of  updates, trailers, and gameplay reveals from some of the best studios worldwide – with a promised focus on Marvel’s Wolverine for the many of us waiting to get our *snikt* on.

The pending YouTube item for the showcase gives us a clue or two on what to expect, with the adamantium flavoured star of the show front and centre:

State of Play returns with more than 60 minutes of updates, announcements, and gameplay reveals from top studios around the world. To kick things off, you’ll get a closer look at Marvel’s Wolverine. Insomniac Games will share more from its upcoming third-person action-adventure game showing off Logan’s brutal and relentless combat along with some new details. This all-new take on the comic book legend launches on PS5 September 15.

Time-wise, it’s thankfully not quite in the twilight hours for us Aussies (and New Zealand cousins) but you will likely want the coffee brewed for when you tune in, given the earliness.

Times include:

Time Time Zone City Date
05:00 AM AWST Perth Wednesday, June 3rd
06:30 AM ACST Adelaide, Darwin Wednesday, June 3rd
07:00 AM AEST Melbourne, Sydney, Hobart, Canberra, Brisbane Wednesday, June 3rd
09:00 AM NZST Wellington Wednesday, June 3rd

The showcase will be taking place at the normal streaming locations, so keep an eye out on both the YouTube and Twitch homes of PlayStation to get a glimpse of what Sony has up their sleeve.
