PlayStation just dropped the date for their next State of Play, and it’s looking to be a lengthy one. On June 3 (AEST) 2026, we’re getting more than an hour of updates, trailers, and gameplay reveals from some of the best studios worldwide – with a promised focus on Marvel’s Wolverine for the many of us waiting to get our *snikt* on.

The pending YouTube item for the showcase gives us a clue or two on what to expect, with the adamantium flavoured star of the show front and centre:
State of Play returns with more than 60 minutes of updates, announcements, and gameplay reveals from top studios around the world. To kick things off, you’ll get a closer look at Marvel’s Wolverine. Insomniac Games will share more from its upcoming third-person action-adventure game showing off Logan’s brutal and relentless combat along with some new details. This all-new take on the comic book legend launches on PS5 September 15.
Time-wise, it’s thankfully not quite in the twilight hours for us Aussies (and New Zealand cousins) but you will likely want the coffee brewed for when you tune in, given the earliness.
