Powerbomb Games, Tinker Town, and Umbrella Entertainment have announced that the upcoming Aussie Rules game Pro Jank Footy will release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch consoles, and PC on August 13.
The retro arcade footy experience featuring commentary by Aunty Donna’s Broden Kelly is destined to become a fan favourite with its on-field antics certain to cause chaos between players in solo play, or local and online multiplayer.
In Pro Jank Footy, players will take to the field and wreak havoc with a bunch of power-ups that change the game for the better and worse, depending on what side you’re on. With over 150 power-ups, including ones that turn one player into a huge unit or make every kick go over your head, no two matches will be the same.
I went hands-on with the title at PAX Australia last year and had a blast, so it’s no surprise that I am keen for the full game to launch.
