I’m fully aware that this is a unique problem, but I have too many gaming mice. A big portion of it comes from years of getting them for review content of course, but I’m also just someone that needs a different looking or feeling mouse for different moods and uses.
That’s why Razer’s latest announcements – the Razer Pro Click V2 and Pro Click V2 Vertical Edition – are so interesting. And particularly the latter, which is a mouse clearly inspired by the likes of the Logitech MX and Lift vertical mice, only make it gaming.
Designed at a very cool lean of 71.7º and sculpted to mimic a classic handshake grip, the Razer Pro Click V2 Vertical Edition is the company’s go at bridging the gap between a gaming and productivity mouse, giving users the best of both worlds on top of being better for their long-term joint health.
If you thought using one of those Logitech ergonomic numbers around the office was a bit too nerdy, you’ll absolutely shed that image with the RGB lighting on this bad boy:
Accompanying the Vertical Edition is also the standard Razer Pro Click V2, which sports a much more casual 30º tilted angle, still supporting a neutral hand posture and rocking rubberised side grips and extended thumb rest to make all day work and play a reasonable prospect, but a little more traditional to the naked eye:
Of course, both of these are Razer joints, so they’ll come with all the typical gaming bells and whistles like a Razer Focus Pro 30K Optical Sensor, mechanical switches, multi-zone lighting powered by Chroma and low-latency, multi-device connectivity with Razer HyperSpeed Wireless.
If all of that sounds like a good time to you, both mice will be available starting April 25th at Razer.com, at the below MSRPs:
- Razer Pro Click V2 Vertical Edition: $199.95 AUD / $ 249.95 NZD MSRP
- Razer Pro Click V2: $ 189.95 AUD / $ 219.95 MSRP
