Capcom has stealthily delayed the release of its online multiplayer game Resident Evil RE:Verse from its initial May 7 release alongside Resident Evil Village to later in 2021.
The Japanese company revealed the news via emails to those in the Resident Evil Ambassador Program that stated that the title is launching in summer 2021.
The Resident Evil ambassadors have received an email mentioning that RE:Verse will be available in the summer, I also received that email, there are no further details. https://t.co/E103PFP7m7 pic.twitter.com/b5sbTT6mXF

It’s been a rocky road for Capcom and RE:Verse, with the game’s recent beta being cut short due to matchmaking issues.
Hopefully Capcom can put together something decent because recent attempts to bring Resident Evil online have been fairly lacklustre.
