Star Wars: Fate Of The Old Republic Is A New Single-Player Action-Adventure Set In A Galaxy Far, Far Away

The Republic is fading

The first big announcement from The Game Awards came by way of developer Arcanaut Studios. This new team unveiled its first game, Star Wars: Fate Of The Old Republic.

A narrative-driven single-player action-adventure RPG, Fate of the Old Republic is a spiritual successor to Knights of the Old Republic, led by the Game Director of the original game, Casey Hudson. Let’s be real, we didn’t get to see much of the game during its exceptionally brief cinematic trailer, but we did see a cloaked Jedi land on a spooky planet, before being confronted by an evil presence that necessitated a lightsaber ignition.
