Lucasfilm Games has revealed Star Wars Zero Company, a single-player turn-based tactics game in development by Bit Reactor.
We’ve heard rumblings of a Star Wars strategy game for some time now, and we finally have our first details. As detailed on the Star Wars website, Zero Company is a tactics title set during the Clone Wars that will have players control an “unconventional team of operatives” as they take on various missions throughout the galaxy.
The game will be the debut title from Bit Reactor, a studio comprised of developers who previously worked on titles such as XCOM, Civilization and The Elder Scrolls Online. Outside of knowing that Star Wars Jedi developer Respawn is working collaboratively with Bit Reactor on Zero Company, we don’t know much else.
While that’s it for concrete details, we did get a look at the game’s key art, depicting the aforementioned operatives brooding and looking cool:

Thankfully, we won’t need to wait long for more info, as it’s been confirmed that the game will see its full reveal during Star Wars Celebration Japan on April 19. The panel is set to take place at 5:30pm AEST, with details hitting the Star Wars website shortly thereafter, so keep your eyes peeled.
