Stray Gets Paw-Some New Gameplay Trailer, Un-Fur-Tunate Delay To 2022

Feline good about this

In the wee hours of this morning (for us in the Land Down Under), renowned indie video game publisher Annapurna Interactive held a live-streamed presentation shining a light on their slate of games to come. One such game, and one that many of us here at WellPlayed are overly-keen for is Stray, from developer BlueTwelve.

A bittersweet showing, the new gameplay trailer for cyberpunk cat Sim, Stray, gave us over four minutes of new gameplay footage and set the scene for the game’s world. You’ll play as a lost cat in a world populated by robots, befriend a drone named B12, and hopefully uncover what’s happened to humanity along the way.

The (sort of) bad news? The game’s been delayed until early 2022 so that the team can focus on making the game as good as it can be without sacrificing their own wellbeing. Good on ’em.

When it does finally make its way out into the world, Stray will be hitting the PC and PS5/PS4 exclusively. Check out the new trailer below:
