Tackle The Black Plague This May In A Plague Tale: Innocence

Rats, lot of rats

Rats are creepy enough on their own without being in plague-ridden hungry mischiefs, which is where Asobo Studio’s A Plague Tale: Innocence places you.

Set during the 14th century pandemic, A Plague Tale sees you play as siblings Amicia and Hugo as they try to survive a disease-ridden rat-infested world while avoiding the French Inquisition soldiers. It’s a premise that’s as creepy as it is intriguing, and you’ll be able to play it this May with game’s publisher Focus Home Interactive announcing a May 14 release for its PS4, Xbox One and PC versions.

Furthermore, Asobo has released a behind the scenes look at the game’s development. The first episode takes a look at the game’s two main characters. You can check it out below:

Or if it’s gameplay you’re after, here’s 16 minutes of footage from Gamescom 2018:

Written By Zach Jackson

Despite a childhood playing survival horrors, point and clicks and beat ’em ups, these days Zach tries to convince people that Homefront: The Revolution is a good game while pining for a sequel to The Order: 1886 and a live-action Treasure Planet film.
