The Ascent Announced To Release In July As An Xbox Console Exclusive

Cyberpunk with a pinch of Diablo

Announced during a 2020 Inside Xbox livestream, The Ascent is an upcoming twin-stick action-shooter set in a Cyberpunk world that looks to have a sneaky Diablo influence. With a visually striking world and some solid-looking RPG gameplay, The Ascent is one to keep an eye on for sure, but you won’t need to anticipate it for too much longer.

Publisher Curve Digital and developer Neon Giant have announced that The Ascent will be releasing on PC, Xbox Series X&S and Xbox One on  July 29, 2021. Not only is the game releasing as an Xbox console exclusive, but it’ll also be available on Xbox Game Pass. For those looking to play on a Series X, the game will target 60fps with a 4K resolution.

The Ascent is touted as an open-world RPG experience that can be played solo or with up to four players, featuring “A narrative-led adventure”, so if that sounds like it’ll be up your alley you might want to make the release date down in your calendar.

The Ascent will release on Xbox Series X&S, Xbox One and PC on July 29, 2021.

Are you liking the look of The Ascent? Will you be playing it through Game Pass? Let us know.
