The Ghost Of Tsushima Gameplay Trailer Has Been Remade In Dreams And It’s Incredible

A new console generation, long-awaited sequels and huge new IPs are all on the horizon for 2020, making it a mammoth of a year for gamers. Without a doubt, one of the most anticipated releases of 2020 is the samurai action game, Ghost of Tsushima. In development by Sucker Punch Productions, the studio responsible for the amazing Infamous series, we have seen a number of trailers and gameplay snippets from Tsushima since its announcement at Paris Games Week back in 2017.

Luckily we now know that Ghost of Tsushima will be releasing in late 2020, but with the game looking as good as it does that still seems like an eternity away. Apparently there are are some creative folks about that refuse to wait any longer and are taking matters into their own hands.

Using the creative tools in Dreams (an amazing game/dev platform that we gave a 10), a user has recreated one of the brutal combat sequences shown in the gameplay trailer from E3 2018. Cutting down a number of Mongal soldiers with ease and grace, this remake is eerily accurate and very impressive, showing just how incredible the creative tools of Dreams are.

To show just how spot on the remake is, a Twitter user produced a side by side comparison of the Dreams creation next to the original Ghost of Tsushima trailer and it is immensely impressive:

Ghost of Tsushima is personally my most anticipated game of 2020, so this was a welcome surprise that has made the wait just a little bit easier. Not only am I excited for Tsushima, but I am also very keen to see what the Dreams community can produce in months and years to come.

Dreams is out now for PS4 and Ghost of Tsushima will be launching on PS4 late 2020.
