One question that’s been on the minds of fans of The Last of Us for ages, other than when will we learn more about the upcoming multiplayer project, is when the game’s highly anticipated TV adaptation will premiere. Thankfully it appears that fans won’t have to wait longer, with the series potentially hitting TV screens on January 15, 2023.
The premiere date was spotted on the HBO page by YouTuber DomTheBomb, who shared the screen grab on Twitter.

The TV adaptation of Naughty Dog’s acclaimed series sees Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey starring as Joel and Ellie, with Chernobyl writer Craig Mazin penning the series’ story alongside Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann, and will have 10 episodes in its debut season. HBO released a teaser trailer for the series back in September as part of The Last of Us Day, which you can view below:
