Slovenian developer Motiviti has announced that the release date for its upcoming point-and-click game Elroy and the Aliens has been set for April 2, 2025.
Inspired by classic Lucas Arts titles and 90s cartoons, Elroy and the Aliens is set in an alternate 1993 and follows haphazard rocket engineer Elroy and his companion Peggie, a reporter, as they endeavour to solve the mystery of Elroy’s father’s disappearance, an archeologist who went missing 18 years ago. Players will explore strange planets, discover mysterious places and meet even stranger characters, including robots, and as it says on the tin, aliens.
It’s a story of love, loss and humour that features over 60 characters fully voiced in English, a gameplay mix that harkens back to the classics while appealing to modern audiences, and detailed hand-drawn 2D art.
If you know me, you’ll know I love a good point-and-click adventure, and Elroy and the Aliens has been on my radar for some time now, so I’m excited to check the game out next year.
Elroy and the Aliens will hit PC via Steam on April 2, 2025. You can add it to your Wishlist here.
