Frogwares has already released a couple of creepy trailers for its Lovecraftian-inspired investigation game The Sinking City, but its latest is well and truly its most unsettling yet.
The cinematic trailer, which is titled Death May Come, showcases the game’s Lovecraftian atmosphere, with lead protagonist Charles Reed waking up in the flood-devastated city of Oakmont before facing some of the horrors that lurk both in the city and in Reed’s own head.
While it doesn’t give anything away in terms of the gameplay we’ll see in The Sinking City, we do get a feel for the psychological vibe Frogwares are going for, and as a Lovecraft horror fan I am extremely excited to get my hands on The Sinking City when it launches on March 21, 2019 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Despite a childhood playing survival horrors, point and clicks and beat ’em ups, these days Zach tries to convince people that Homefront: The Revolution is a good game while pining for a sequel to The Order: 1886 and a live-action Treasure Planet film.
