The Sinking City’s Latest Trailer Highlights The Challenge That Awaits You In Oakmont

Do you have what it takes?

Ukrainian-based development team Frogwares and publisher Bigben Interactive have today revealed a new trailer for their upcoming Lovecraftian-inspired detective game The Sinking City.

The trailer titled Detective Gameplay gives players an inside look at what they can expect from the game’s investigation-style gameplay. Frogwares promises that there will be zero hand-holding when it comes to completing objectives, with the trailer’s narrator proclaiming ‘we will never tell you how to approach a quest’. Furthermore, the trailer introduces us to some new mechanics such as Retro Cognition, as well as confirming that the Mind Palace feature from their popular Sherlock Holmes games is a key mechanic in piecing together the mystery of Oakmont.

You can view the trailer below:

The Sinking City is currently scheduled for a March 21 release on PS4, Xbox One and PC. However, while there’s been no word from Bigben or Frogwares, there’s heavy speculation that the game has been delayed.
