Time To Get Your Grind On, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Has Been Revealed

Get shredding this July

After a fun teaser appeared in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, fans can now rest easy knowing that the news is beyond gnarly: Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is coming this July.

The trailer for the game shows off classic parks with a slick new look, but details also reveal new skaters, gnarlier tricks, and even brand-new parks to get your grind on:

Perhaps the most exciting news for me is the confirmation of not just multiplayer, but cross-platform multiplayer:

Cross-platform online multiplayer supports up to eight skaters at a time. Go head-to-head or take your time and skate every surface in the multiplayer Free Skate. Whether you’re a casual skater or a grungy pro, the smooth handling and simple-to-learn controls from Tony Hawk’s™ Pro Skater™ 1 + 2 are back in THPS 3 + 4, so you’ll be ready to go no matter the mode.

This means I can bug all my oldschool couch multiplayer mates to grab the game on whatever platform they have on hand – and dive back into fishing for that perfect combo. While they don’t drill down into exactly what multiplayer modes will be in the game at launch, I am hopeful they bring back the amazing KOTH-style “Graffiti” mode, so old feuds can burn brightly once more.

It’s my half-pipe nerd, get your mitts off it.

There is also Digital Deluxe Edition with unique characters for people who love all things Doom – adding the Doom Slayer and a Revenant as riders, with unique special tricks and a crazy hoverboard. You can also blast rails to additional Doom tracks on the in-game soundtrack – which sounds kind of awesome, the be fair.

THPS 3 + 4 drops on July 11, with early access (ugh) on July 8 for those that purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition. A demo with the classic Foundry park will drop in June, so people can re-acquaint themselves with the skating life.
