One of the best things to come of Xbox’s commitment to backwards compatibility is that people can now play TimeSplitters 2 and TimeSplitters Future Perfect, two of the finest first-person shooters ever made if I do say so myself.
Xbox is currently having a sale on a ton of titles, including backwards compatible games. Two of those are the aforementioned TimeSplitters titles, which will set you back $3.73 each (a saving of $11.22), a collective total of $7.46.

While these may be the original versions of the game with no visual enhancements or performance boots they hold up fairly well and to get both for less than $8 is an absolute steal in my books.
After many years of laying dormant, the IP was bought by Microsoft THQ Nordic back in 2018, with a new game announced last year, although it’s likely years away. So while you wait why not dive back into the games that made the series a household name in the 2000s?
