Two Worlds III Announced, Two Worlds II Gets Upgrade

A whole new Two Worlds

TopWare Interactive and Reality Pump Studios have today announced a new entry into their popular open world RPG series Two Worlds. Simply titled Two Worlds III, it is only in concept stage and development is anticipated to take place over the next three years.

With certain similarities to the juggernaut of Western RPG series, The Elder Scrolls, the original Two Worlds gained significant popularity in Europe although was largely pandered by critics elsewhere. Two Worlds II largely rectified the problems of its predecessor and became a critical and commercial hit worldwide.

Alongside this announcement comes news that Two Worlds II (which is now five years old) will also be receiving an engine upgrade (likely to form the basis for Two Worlds III) as well as two pieces of single-player DLC: Call of the Tenebrae and Shattered Embrace. Call of the Tenebrae is slated for Q2 release this year. For more info on the DLC head on over to the official web site.
