In a trend that is seemingly becoming more prevalent (with Battlefield 1 Collector’s Edition, followed by the Mass Effect: Andromeda Collector’s Edition) the Resident Evil 7 Collector’s Edition will not ship with the game included. The listing was noticed on GameStop Italy’s page for the Collector’s Edition which features things ranging from an artbook to a model house for €99.98. What should also be noted is there is an option at the bottom of the page to add the game to the collector’s edition for an additional €60.98.

There is still no word on this coming out in Australia, and it should also be noted that even though the BF1 Collector’s Edition didn’t come with the game in other countries, it did come with the game in Australia.
Resident Evil 7 is slated for a release date of January 24th 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
