Past Cure, the third-person, story-driven psychological thriller from Berlin-based startup development team Phantom 8 has a demo available for download on Steam. The demo will allow players to play a part of a mission/level from the middle of the game.
Releasing on February 23 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, players will take control of Ian, who after a series of military experiments develops a range of special abilities such as time control. However, as a result of these experiments Ian’s mind becomes fractured and consequently he seeks revenge against those who wronged him. Phantom 8 promises a cinematic story-driven experience interwoven with action, horror, stealth and puzzle solving gameplay sequences.
Despite a childhood playing survival horrors, point and clicks and beat ’em ups, these days Zach tries to convince people that Homefront: The Revolution is a good game while pining for a sequel to The Order: 1886 and a live-action Treasure Planet film.
