Prepare for the FireCuda Cup

Seagate Technology have announced they are making a strong commitment to the Oceania esports scene with the formation of the Seagate FireCuda Cup. This esports league will launch in support of a professional Rocket League season, also supported by ASUS.

The Seagate FireCuda Cup will consist of three divisions: a professional, main, and amateur, with a prize pool over $5,000 plus product prizes from sponsors. In addition to the championship titles, prizes and awards will be on offer for the best plays including best goals and of course, the best saves. These top highlights will be shared in videos through @SeagateANZ on Twitter.

CyberGamer will be hosting the tournament on a Fight for Your Invite basis on the 22nd of February, with the top 8 teams of the region being selected for the Professional division, and the following 8 invited to the Main division. The Amateur division will be open for teams.

The season will commence on the 1st of March, with finals taking place 19th of April 2017. Matches will be held Wednesday nights from 7pm with online finals, and will be streamed live on the partnered Twitch channel www.twitch.tv/cgplevent
